Whither Weather Plus

You may have noticed the meteorologists formerly with NBC Weather Plus are now referred to as being a part of The Weather Channel when they appear on MSNBC or NBC. At the same time Weather Channel correspondents/meteorologists are appearing on NBC News programs while NBC News correspondents are appearing on the Weather Channel.

But this is interesting.



An emailer points out that when you type weatherplus.com into the address bar, or you Google ‘NBC Weather Plus’ or ‘Weather Plus’ all the links redirect you to the Weather Channel page which is weather.com, one of the best URLs in the whole WWW.

It’s like NBC Weather Plus never existed. Ah, but that’s why there’s Wikipedia.
