As a book designer and layout artist, my focus is on delivering a clean, professional final product quickly and efficiently, working within the publisher’s style guides and business hours. I have designed books and series, but often work with templates provided by publishers. Along with working with text, I also am well versed in map reproduction in Illustrator, and photo manipulation in Photoshop. My body of work includes complicated outdoor recreation guides, nonfiction, fiction, cookbooks, and educational books. I am well versed in graphic design applications on the Mac platform, I currently work in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat), and Microsoft Office.
