About the Role As a Customer Experience Consultant at CarMax, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding experience for our customers throughout their journey. You'll offer guidance, support, and expertise, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable process in buying and selling vehicles. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service by assisting customers through every phase, from vehicle sales to facilitating appraisals, test drives, and financing arrangements. Perform vehicle condition assessments, accurately collecting and relaying information to assist with customer appraisals. Receive and check in vehicles, overseeing daily inventory scans and reconciliations. Conduct cosmetic inspections to ensure vehicles meet CarMax's quality standards. Handle various administrative tasks, including managing transaction paperwork, liaising with finance companies, and ensuring accuracy in billing documentation. Schedule service appointments and review repair orders for retail service work, ensuring all documentation is accurate for billing purposes. Role Purpose This high-energy, retail sales environment requires a dynamic individual who can build rapport quickly with customers and understand their unique needs. You will manage diverse tasks with minimal supervision, including vehicle sales, appraisal processing, and the management of repair orders. Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data for accurate record maintenance. Physical capacity to lift up to 25 lbs. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred sales and customer service experience in a retail environment. A valid Driver's License is required. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
