About the Role As a Customer Experience Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for our customers. By serving as a guide and providing support throughout their CarMax journey, you will help maintain our reputation for honesty and transparency-the key drivers of our success as the nation's largest retailer of used cars. Your Essential Duties Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting clients in every phase, from vehicle sales to appraisals, test drives, and financing applications. Perform vehicle condition assessments by documenting and communicating necessary information for customer appraisals. Manage the checking and receiving of vehicles shipped to CarMax, ensuring that all inventory is accurately scanned and reconciled daily. Conduct cosmetic inspections to ensure vehicles comply with CarMax Quality Standards. Execute various administrative tasks, including printing reports, managing transaction paperwork, liaising with finance companies regarding contracts, and ensuring accurate documentation for vehicle registrations. Coordinate service appointments and review repair order invoices while ensuring proper billing documentation. Why Apply? The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $28.50. Benefits: CarMax Associates receive various paid time-off benefits, including sick leave and vacation time, along with paid holidays. Full-time hourly or commission-eligible associates may earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year, and vacation time based on tenure with the company. Additionally, associates receive holiday pay and have opportunities for further compensation if working on holidays.
