$56,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret customer Requests for Quotes (RFQs), blueprints, and technical specifications.
Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs using established methodologies and data.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
Prepare and submit comprehensive, competitive, and timely price proposals to customers.
Maintain and update quoting databases and ensure compliance with company pricing strategies.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering in quoted projects.
Manage the quoting pipeline, track quote status, and follow up on submitted proposals.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation, margin analysis, and pricing strategies.
Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems, CRM platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear proposals and collaborating with internal teams and customers.
Proven ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and cost modeling.
Technical understanding of specific manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly).
