E-Commerce Grocery Order Fulfillment Specialist

Become part of our exciting team as an E-Commerce Grocery Order Fulfillment Specialist! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders, focusing on quality and freshness. As an integral member of our E-Commerce team, you'll assemble orders, process payments and coupons, and assist with loading orders into customers' vehicles upon their arrival for pick-up. Key Responsibilities: Select and gather products for online orders with a sharp focus on quality. Initiate and finalize the selection process for customers' orders. Assemble and bag orders promptly, adhering to our bagging standards. Communicate any necessary substitutions or exceptions to customers when they arrive for pick-up. Exceed customer expectations in terms of variety, freshness, and cleanliness. Follow all local, state, and federal laws, as well as food safety procedures and company policies. Ensure proper storage of products and maintain organization in staging areas. Engage with customers professionally and promptly using a portable device to address inquiries. Accurately process orders through the point of sale (POS) system and manage substitutions effectively. Report any discrepancies in pricing, scanning, and product locations as necessary. Qualifications: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong reading skills for shelf tags. Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, including cashier roles. Compensation for this position ranges from $16.70 to $21.27 per hour.
