What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers inside and outside the U-Haul center with products and services
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Clean and inspect equipment, including checking fluid levels
Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns
Participate in ongoing education and training through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to manage physical demands, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to adhere to safety precautions in a work environment with moderate risks
Availability for scheduled shifts and willingness to work as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with equipment handling or logistics industry
Ability to obtain certifications for propane filling and forklift operation
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Interest in ongoing personal and professional development
