What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers inside and outside the center with U-Haul products and services
Use smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
Clean and inspect equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Availability for PM and Sunday shifts preferred
Commitment to maintaining a nicotine‑free environment as part of company policy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with equipment maintenance or rental services
Willingness to obtain certifications for forklift operation and propane filling
Strong communication skills and ability to educate customers about products
