About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Hospice Operations to take on a pivotal leadership role in the North/Northeastern Atlanta market. The successful candidate will be tasked with the overall direction of hospice services, encompassing operations, compliance, staffing, quality, patient care delivery, and performance against business objectives. This demanding position requires a seasoned hospice operator who can lead with a hands-on approach, build and retain a strong team, ensure compliance, and drive disciplined execution across the branch.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospice program, leading branch performance in all operational aspects, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements. The role also involves hiring, developing, and retaining qualified hospice personnel, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and supporting interdisciplinary team coordination. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a Master’s degree in nursing is preferred, and a minimum of 3 years of hospice management experience. Strong knowledge of hospice operations, Medicare conditions of participation, compliance, and team leadership is essential, as is a stable work history and proven leadership performance. The Executive Director will be expected to manage budgets, resources, and branch infrastructure while promoting ethical business practices and high patient-care standards.
