About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to spearhead branch operations in the North/Northeastern Atlanta market. This pivotal leadership role demands a seasoned professional with a robust background in hospice management, particularly in the areas of operations, compliance, staffing, quality, and patient care delivery. The successful candidate will be tasked with the overall direction of hospice services, ensuring the branch meets and exceeds business objectives, and maintaining a strong focus on disciplined execution and team retention.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospice program, leading branch performance across various operational and quality metrics, and ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and accreditation requirements. The role also involves the recruitment, development, and retention of qualified hospice personnel, as well as the management of budgets, resources, and branch infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a Master’s degree in nursing is preferred, and a minimum of 3 years' of hospice management experience. A local candidate with acute market knowledge and connections is preferred, and a strong working knowledge of hospice operations, Medicare conditions of participation, and team leadership is essential. The Executive Director will be expected to promote ethical business practices and high patient-care standards while fostering strong communication with staff, leadership, patients, families, and referral partners.
