Job Description
The Role of Relationship Banker II involves meeting with customers and prospects in person and on the phone to assess financial needs and provide appropriate products and services. This position offers a career path with growth, development and upward mobility.
Primary Responsibilities
Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and offering guidance and perspective about Regions’ solutions
Conduct outbound phone calls using generated customer and prospect lead lists to expand existing relationships and acquire new customers
Educate and advise customers on Regions’ Consumer and Business products and services including all loan and deposit types
Educate customers on emerging technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online and ATM offerings designed to make banking easier
Provide a consistent optimal customer experience, including greeting customers and processing transactions to ensure customers bank when, where and how they choose
Own and resolve customer issues
Refer customers to internal team of experts when complex financial goals are recognized
Follow all bank processes and procedures, adhere to applicable laws and regulations, and report operational risks as assigned by the Branch Manager
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work Saturdays as needed
Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
Ability to communicate in person, on the phone and electronically
Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
Track time for hours beyond 40 per week and eligible for overtime under FLSA
Position is incentive eligible
Must register with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
Preferences
Bachelor’s degree
Life Insurance License
One (1) year of cash-handling, banking, and/or customer service experience
Skills and Competencies

Assistance customers with digital banking offerings
Handling multiple priorities simultaneously
Overseeing large sums of cash

Compensation Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Minimum: $46,120.20 USD
Median: $55,160.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan and a formulaic incentive plan based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
