
Resident Service Specialist

A Brief Overview
The Resident Services Specialist is responsible for assisting and coordinating all resident requests with the property management team, maintaining resident files and retention programs, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the community. The role includes overseeing the overall appearance of the community, supporting marketing functions, ensuring compliance with Hunt Military Communities policies, and meeting with resident groups as needed. What you will do
Serve as the primary point of contact for all resident inquiries. Coordinate and assist with resident requests, entering work orders into YARDI. Answer resident questions and resolve concerns while maintaining a high level of customer service. Assist in inspecting model and vacant homes to ensure readiness for prospective client tours. Administer move‑in lease documents and home inspections with residents. Coordinate move‑outs, pre‑inspection and final inspection for outgoing residents, including assessing damage charges and delivering final utility bills. Monitor rental account balances and ensure correct fees and rent charges in Yardi. Help maintain community curb appeal and the appearance of the office, amenities, models, and homes. Conduct follow‑up phone calls to ensure work orders are completed to resident satisfaction. Perform other duties as needed to assist the Community Director/Manager and leasing team. Participate in monthly resident retention functions. Drive for the company in a company vehicle or personal/rental vehicle at least 50% of the time. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or related field preferred. Experience with computers and standard office software (Email, Word, Excel, browsers) required. Previous sales experience preferred. Strong customer service skills. Ability to visit homes in all weather conditions. Discretion in handling confidential information. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Capacity to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Professionalism, integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail. Independent problem‑solving and decision making. Team player with excellent client management and business literacy skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strategic thinking to address complex business issues. Initiative to anticipate client needs and recommend solutions. Valid driver’s license in state required. Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from $23.59 to $28.21 per hour (exclusive of fringe benefits). A performance bonus may also be earned. Final salaries are determined by geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and experience, with pay equity principles applied. Benefits
