Responsibilities
Providing disciplinary and technical leadership to employees across multiple segments
Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations in the areas under your responsibility
Experience in the field of technical optics is a advantage
Developing staffing and equipment schedules to optimize capacity utilization
Responsibility for achieving daily KPIs in the assigned segments (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People – SQDCP)
Planning and monitoring of processes and capacities to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
Supporting the further development of modern methods such as Lean Production (Kanban, Kaizen, 6S) to increase efficiency
Monitoring of production costs and definition of measures for reduction
Achievement of the segment targets defined in the annual plan (X-Matrix)
Supporting all assigned employees in accordance with the Excelitas Operations System (EOS)
Identifying and implementing optimization potential, increasing production flexibility, and introducing new production processes in collaboration with Process Engineering
Qualifications
Technical vocational training with advanced training as a technician (m/f/d) or a successfully completed technical degree or comparable professional experience
Several years of professional experience; leadership experience is desirable
Strong commitment to quality and responsibility, as well as an independent, proactive, and team-oriented approach to thinking and working
Very good German and good English skills
Proficiency in common software (SAP, MS Office, Power BI)
