
Residential Construction Coordinator

The Residential Construction Coordinator supports the planning and execution of homebuilding and residential renovation projects. This role ensures smooth coordination between homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams by managing schedules, documentation, and communication throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of residential construction projects
Schedule subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries
Track project timelines, milestones, and deadlines
Coordinate multiple homes/projects simultaneously
Homeowner Communication
Serve as a point of contact for homeowners throughout the build process
Provide updates on timelines, selections, and construction progress
Schedule walkthroughs, design meetings, and final orientations
Address questions and escalate concerns as needed
Documentation & Selections
Maintain organized project files, contracts, permits, and plans
Track buyer selections, upgrades, and change orders
Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
Assist with HOA or community requirements if applicable
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Assist with material ordering and tracking (cabinets, flooring, fixtures, etc.)
Coordinate with vendors to confirm lead times and deliveries
Support subcontractor onboarding and documentation
Financial & Administrative Support
Track invoices, purchase orders, and job costs
Assist with budget tracking and reporting
Support draw requests and payment processing
Quality & Closeout
Assist with punch list creation and tracking
Coordinate final inspections and occupancy requirements
Compile warranties, manuals, and closeout documents for homeowners
Qualifications
Education
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field
preferred
Equivalent experience will be considered
Experience
1-3 years of experience in residential construction, homebuilding, or project coordination
Experience working with homeowners or customer-facing roles preferred
