We are partnering with our client to identify a Controller to support their business. This role offers strong visibility and collaboration with both finance and operations, with a focus on financial reporting, business partnership, and overall performance management within a manufacturing environment.
About the Role
This is a well-rounded role for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and contributing to both financial integrity and business decision-making.
Responsibilities
Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
Oversee financial reporting and compliance
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Partner with operations and leadership to provide financial insights and analysis
Monitor key performance metrics across the business
Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness
Collaborate with global finance teams and support ad hoc projects
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment (required)
Strong foundation in financial reporting and close processes
Exposure to inventory and manufacturing operations (no cost accounting needed)
Knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS is a plus)
ERP experience
Strong communication and business partnering skills
