Job Summary
The Analyst, Payroll Tax will oversee complex day-to-day payroll tax compliance across the US and Canada.
What You’ll Do
Own all aspects of payroll tax operations, including U.S. and Canada
Perform monthly, quarterly and year end tax balancing and reconciliations
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
Investigate and resolve escalations; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Conduct testing of Oracle Payroll Cloud tax updates and legislative releases.
Troubleshoot Oracle payroll tax issues and coordinate with IT or Oracle support as needed
Interface regularly with ADP Tax Services to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely filings
Maintain process documentation, tax calendars, and SOPs related to payroll tax operations
What You Bring To The Team
4+ years of payroll experience, with a strong focus on tax compliance and payroll processing.
In-depth understanding of payroll tax regulations, filings, and agency communications
Experience working with ADP SmartCompliance or similar tax service providers
Experience in Oracle Payroll Cloud, or similar payroll system
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
