
Litigation Paralegal - Civil Litigation

An established downtown law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy Civil Litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and emotionally mature professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and respond to discovery in pending civil litigation matters
Manage, organize, analyze, and prepare documents for review and production
Draft judicial council and court‑related forms for hearings and filings
Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, including:
Preparing and organizing exhibits
Handling exhibits during remote depositions
Summarizing deposition transcripts
Support all aspects of trial preparation
Communicate effectively with attorneys, firm personnel, clients, vendors, and third parties
Utilize and maintain proficiency in legal technology, including:
Word processing and document management systems
Spreadsheets and database software
E‑discovery platforms
Timekeeping and forms programs
Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of solid civil litigation paralegal experience (required)
Strong working knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, and litigation procedures
Proven project management skills with excellent follow‑through
Exceptional attention to detail, time management, sound judgment, and organizational ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well‑developed interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism
Experience working within law firm practice groups
E‑discovery experience required (preferably DISCO)
Familiarity with document management systems (iManage preferred)
Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification (strongly preferred)

E‑Discovery Expertise (DISCO preferred) with at least 5 years of civil litigation experience
Superior attention to detail and consistent follow‑through

Schedule:
Full‑time, 40 hours per week
Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30‑minute lunch)
Location:
Downtown office (onsite)
Pay Range (California):
$35-$44 per hour
Final offer commensurate with skills and experience
