Responsibilities

Manage cases from inception through resolution

Draft and file complaints and responsive pleadings

Draft and argue dispositive motions

Develop litigation strategy in reimbursement and coverage disputes

Engage in settlements negotiations

Appear in CT state and federal courts

Collaborate on complex healthcare litigation matters involving regulatory and reimbursement frameworks

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

3+ years of litigation experience

Licensed and in good standing in Connecticut (required)

Licensed and in good standing in New Jersey or New York (preferred)

Licensed in the Federal Court of Connecticut (preferred)

Prior experience in healthcare litigation, insurance coverage, or reimbursement disputes preferred but not required

Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills

Ability to manage cases independently

Salary Range:

$140,000-170,000 / year, commensurate with experience
