
AR Supervisor – Cash Applications

Job Overview
A newly created role that will lead the cash applications function within a high-volume, multi-entity accounts receivable environment. You will oversee the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of cash posting while improving processes, systems, and visibility across the function.
Hybrid schedule: 3 days on site with flexibility. Bonus potential.
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of 5–6 AR staff focused on cash applications
Oversee daily cash posting, remittance processing, and unapplied cash resolution
Drive accuracy and timeliness of cash application across multiple entities
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, short payments, and misapplied cash
Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve payment issues
Support EDI processes and troubleshoot invoice/payment mismatches
Monitor KPIs and reporting related to cash application performance
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements and automation
Support month‑end close and reporting activities
Qualifications
5+ years of AR experience with strong cash application exposure
Prior leadership or mentorship experience
Experience in high‑volume, multi‑entity environments
Strong ERP experience
Detail‑oriented with strong reconciliation and problem‑solving skills
Process‑driven mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
