We are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on experience in Florida property damage / first-party insurance claims—this is not a general litigation or entry-level role.
About the Role
We are a growing law firm in Largo, Florida focused on property damage / first-party insurance claims seeking a highly organized and experienced paralegal to support our litigation team.
This is a first-party, in-office role for someone who understands the lifecycle of a property damage claim—from intake through litigation—and can manage files efficiently with minimal oversight.

What You’ll Do
You will play a critical role in managing property damage cases, including:
Managing case files from intake through settlement or trial
Drafting and filing complaints, motions, discovery, and notices
Handling pre-suit and litigation workflows for first-party claims
Reviewing and organizing claim documents, policies, estimates, and correspondence
Coordinating with clients, adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel
Managing deadlines, court filings, and case calendars
Assisting attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy support
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management systems
What We’re Looking For
Required:
3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal (Florida)
Direct experience with property damage / first-party insurance claims
Strong understanding of Florida civil procedure and litigation timelines
Experience managing high-volume caseloads
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and keep cases progressing
Preferred:
Experience with insurance carriers, adjusters, and claim documentation
Familiarity with estimates, loss packages, or claim files
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP)
Experience with case management software (Filevine)

Deadlines are consistently met and filings are accurate
Files are clean, organized, and easy for attorneys to step into
Communication with clients and partners is professional and proactive
You take ownership and help reduce friction across the workflow
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary based on experience ($65,000 – $90,000+)
