Job Description
You will be the Construction Manager (Level 3) for the Construction Management Team. Our team is responsible for the oversight and execution of facility construction activity at the Grand Prairie, Texas MFC facility, including renovation, expansion, and new construction.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Construction Manager (Level 3) you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing General, Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental Services contractors, writing scopes of work, coordinating outside service contractors, and ensuring projects meet engineering specifications while addressing safety and environmental concerns.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
Plan, execute, and manage General, Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental Services contractors.
Write statements of work for repairs or construction projects.
Coordinate and manage outside service contractors throughout project lifecycles.
Verify that construction adheres to scope and engineering specifications, mitigating environmental or safety issues.
Deliver high‑quality customer service while meeting deadlines under pressure.
Basic Qualifications
5 years of construction/facilities project management experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and including the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, management and diverse populations.
Experienced in the use of project management concepts to include schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables
Construction skills which include managing and negotiating with general contractors and/or subcontractors.
Proven project management skills and strong organizational and time management skills include the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Desired Skills
Understanding of laboratory, factory/manufacturing/assembly, and office space requirements.
Knowledge of all applicable codes and regulations, including OSHA, state and municipal codes and regulations.
Proficient in MS office software programs including PowerPoint excel word outlook and project.
Understanding of equipment commissioning.
Bachelor of science degree in engineering, construction management or similar discipline
