
Repetitive Manufacturing Materials Coordinator

This position is onsite only in Springfield, MO.
Pay: $24–$26 per hour
Keep production moving. Solve problems. Stay ahead of shortages. This role sits right in the middle of production. You’re the person making sure materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there and fix it fast when they’re not. You’ll work across purchasing, production, engineering, and the warehouse to keep jobs on track and the system accurate. If you like staying organized, digging into problems, and being the one people rely on to keep things moving, this role fits.
What You’ll Be Doing
Monitor production jobs and make sure materials are ready to go
Identify shortages and take action—transfers, purchase orders, expediting
Work with Purchasing and suppliers to keep materials on time
Create and manage jobs in the ERP system
Keep material, labor, and job data accurate and up to date
Track open purchase orders and follow up on delays
Support production by communicating material status and risks
Help resolve discrepancies—materials, documentation, system issues
Maintain bills of materials and process engineering changes
Ensure traceability and documentation are complete and accurate
Support inventory accuracy and help resolve variances
This is a fast-moving role
where priorities shift—you’ll need to stay on top of it.

Experience
1–2 years in manufacturing, materials, supply chain, or purchasing
ERP/MRP system experience (Epicor is a plus)
Familiarity with BOMs, routings, or material planning is helpful
Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivots, basic analysis)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
This role is primarily office-based with regular interaction on the production floor and with warehouse teams. It requires extended computer use, communication, and coordination across departments. Light physical activity such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds may be required.
