Overview
BEPC Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to support a semiconductor manufacturing environment in Richardson, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in virtualization, containerization, and enterprise infrastructure who thrives in a fast-paced, production-critical setting. You will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining IT/OT systems that support manufacturing operations while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and support IT/OT infrastructure solutions in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Administer and maintain VMware environments, including virtualization and system performance optimization
Manage Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems across on-premise server infrastructure
Design and support containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker
Implement infrastructure automation to improve system reliability and operational efficiency
Provide day-to-day operational support for server stacks and related systems
Collaborate with corporate IT and manufacturing teams to align infrastructure with business needs
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, resilience, and operational standards
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and system issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Strong experience with VMware virtualization technologies
Proficiency in Windows Server and RHEL Linux administration
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration
Experience supporting on-premise infrastructure in a production or manufacturing environment
Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools and practices
Understanding of IT/OT environments and integration
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and resilience strategies
Experience working in cross-functional teams with IT and operational stakeholders
