Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef, located in the Albany, New York Metropolitan Area. The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, controlling inventory and costs, and ensuring the consistent quality and creativity of all meals. The Executive Chef will also collaborate with management to enhance the dining experience and support overall club goals.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills, including proficiency in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
Experience in team leadership, staff management, and mentorship within a kitchen environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation, and hygiene practices
Budget management, inventory control, and cost management skills
Creativity in developing unique and appealing dishes, with an eye for detail
Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure on-site environment
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred
Experience in a country club or upscale dining environment is a plus
