
Travel PCU Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,073 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13‑week assignment at a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Weirton, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication while reporting adverse reactions.
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and record findings.
Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.
Perform close patient monitoring on a 12‑hour rotating shift with 36 hours per week.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds routinely; occasional patient lifts up to 50 pounds.
Good stress‑coping skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
