We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide night shift, 12‑hour, 36‑hour‑per‑week, 13‑week assignment in an inpatient Rehabilitation unit in Herrin, Illinois. Minimum 2 years of experience and active IL RN license required.

Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting. High neurological patient population, including stroke patients.
Details
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every third weekend required, specifically Friday and Saturday nights
Sundays are considered part of the regular work week with some scheduling flexibility available
13‑week contract
Requirements
Active Illinois RN license currently in hand
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
Stroke certification is a plus but not required
Additional Information
Unit functions similarly to a medical floor; Heparin drips are not administered
Responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical, mental, and spiritual needs and developing individualized plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
RNs are expected to recognize and report changes in patient condition using clinical judgment
Role includes patient and family education, accurate medical record documentation, and participation in continuing education
Part of a nationally recognized non‑profit health system with acclaim in stroke, cardiac, cancer, and rehabilitation services
Compensation
Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
