Job Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Greenville, South Carolina. The role requires 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care across a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities.
Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment for safe function; report malfunctions to director.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated.
Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. Must have BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required. Must be certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, with adequate vision.
NBRC, BLS, ACLS, 2 Years of experience.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
