Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Largo, Florida.
Responsibilities
As a Respiratory Therapist, provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
Maintain patient records/documentation.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function. Report malfunctions to director.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated.
Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.
Qualifications / Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
Certifications: BLS; ACLS; NBRC (required or as applicable by location); PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
Education: N/A (as applicable to role).
