About the Role


The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead and manage the business development and sales activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new leads and opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and providing tailored solutions to ensure the success of client product development and manufacturing. This role involves generating proposals, negotiating and closing deals, and building strategic partnerships to maximize commercial opportunities. The VP will also be expected to stay abreast of market trends, maintain knowledge of competitor technologies, and collaborate with various internal teams to achieve business goals.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of successful CDMO sales experience, with a preference for a background in biologics or chemistry, and hold a BS or Masters degree in life sciences or a related field. The role requires excellent communication skills, experience with CRM and Microsoft Office, a proven track record in meeting sales forecasts, and the ability to negotiate complex contracts. The VP will be expected to travel as needed and must operate with the highest ethical standards, comply with company policies, and adhere to quality standards. The position also demands a team player who can effectively collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the company's mission.
