About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead and manage the business development and sales activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new leads and opportunities across all business units, nurturing and growing relationships with existing clients, and providing tailored solutions to ensure client success in product development and manufacturing. This role involves generating proposals, negotiating and closing deals, and building strategic partnerships to maximize commercial opportunities. The Vice President will also be expected to present the company's technologies at various meetings and conferences, as well as to stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of successful CDMO sales experience, with a preference for those with a background in biologics or chemistry. A BS or Master's degree in life sciences or a related field is required. The role demands excellent communication skills, experience with CRM and Microsoft Office, and a proven track record in meeting sales forecasts and negotiating complex contracts. The Vice President will be expected to travel as needed and must operate with the highest ethical standards, complying with the company's policies and procedures. The position also requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team, adhere to quality standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes.
