Join a dedicated team in Houston, Texas, providing essential health services to our nation's Veterans. This role focuses on Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, emphasizing a commitment to quality care in a supportive environment. Our practice prides itself on a reflective approach to patient evaluation, ensuring thorough assessments that uphold the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluation, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete medical reports and any necessary addendums following examinations.
- Manage administrative work related to exams on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with a team committed to providing care to Veterans.
- Board Certified in General Medicine or relevant specialty.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
- Experience with Compensation and Pension exams is a plus.
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Must be able to provide a current home address for presentations.
- Active and unrestricted full medical license.
- Certification through AANP or equivalent.
- DMA certification required within a specified timeframe.
