Job Opportunity: General Medicine Physician - Locum

Our facility focuses on performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, providing essential services to those who have served. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values compassion and excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform interview-based assessments with a focus on physical evaluations including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Document findings and submit reports, including any required addendums.
• Work on a PRN basis, with options for half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
• Ensure compliance with practice protocols and participate in training as required.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluation, and diagnosis of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred.
• Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products) for documentation purposes.
• Willingness to complete DMA training to attain certification.

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• Current active medical license in Arizona.
• AANP certified.
• Completion of a self-query NPDB within the last 30 days.
