Position Summary
The Warehouse Order Puller / Shipping & Inventory Specialist is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing biopharmaceutical products for shipment while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick, verify, and stage customer orders based on pick tickets and system instructions
Pack and label shipments in accordance with regulatory, safety, and company guidelines
Coordinate outbound shipments, including preparing shipping documentation and ensuring proper handling conditions (e.g., cold chain requirements)
Perform inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy
Inspect products for damage, expiration dates, and compliance with quality standards
Maintain proper storage conditions for sensitive biopharmaceutical materials (temperature-controlled environments)
Follow all safety, GMP, and GDP procedures to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming inventory
Collaborate with quality assurance and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies or shipment issues
Required Qualifications
1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience (biopharma or healthcare industry preferred)
Experience with WMS, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), or RF scanning devices
Basic computer skills, including data entry, inventory tracking, and email communication
Understanding of inventory control principles and shipping procedures
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with GMP, GDP, or FDA-regulated environments
Experience handling temperature-sensitive or hazardous materials
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
Knowledge of barcode scanning and automated inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Effective communication and teamwork
Reliability and accountability
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
Ability to work in controlled environments (cold storage, cleanrooms, etc.)
Warehouse and distribution center setting
May include temperature-controlled areas (refrigerated or frozen storage)
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Compliance & Safety
Adhere to all company policies, OSHA regulations, and biopharma industry standards
Maintain proper documentation for traceability and audits
