PetVet Care Centers' Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a

Care Coordinator (Part Time)

to join their team.

Position Overview
The Care Coordinator contributes to the success of a high‑performing organization and performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.

Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.

Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.

Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.

Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.

Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.

Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.

Qualifications (Required)

High school diploma or GED.

May consider an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

Knowledge of clerical procedures such as alphabetizing files and records.

Ability to provide great customer service in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner.

Ability to perform cashier duties accurately.

Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details.

Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work some weekends and holidays.

Tasks may involve extended periods at a keyboard or workstation and/or standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Some tasks involve moderately physically demanding work, usually involving lifting or carrying moderately heavy animals (up to 50 pounds).

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

One or more years of experience working in Veterinary Medicine.

Schedule

Part Time, Day Shift

Monday to Saturday (Mondays and Saturdays are mandatory).
