Position Summary
Provides comprehensive administrative support for the Vice-Chair of Finance and Administration, and the Department Chair of Internal Medicine, requiring excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment. Responsible for administrative assistance and monitoring of the day-to-day operation of activities/office services, and project management requirements of the Vice-Chair of Finance and Administration, and Chair of the department. The primary responsibility of this position is managing the weekly Internal Medicine Grand Rounds, which includes scheduling, facilitating, and marketing, and is also responsible for supervising and training the 12 division grand round coordinators in the department. This position provides essential administrative support to the Vice-Chair of Finance and Administration and the Chair to achieve the Department of Internal Medicine's goals and objectives.
