Salary Range:
$51,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving associates, fostering a productive work environment.
Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies through cycle counts and investigations.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service to optimize material flow and meet delivery schedules.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the shipping and receiving department.
Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Recommended Qualifications
3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience, including training, coaching, and performance management of a team.
Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management, transaction processing, and report generation.
Strong understanding of logistics processes, including carrier management, freight optimization, and international shipping regulations.
Ability to operate various material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) with valid certification.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
Forklift certification and experience with various material handling equipment.
Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Ability to analyze shipping/receiving data and identify areas for process improvement.
Experience training and mentoring junior team members.
