Salary Range:
$86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Designs and implements firmware for manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoots and debugs embedded systems on the production line.
Collaborates with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate hardware and software.
Develops and maintains documentation for embedded systems and processes.
Optimizes code for performance, reliability, and resource utilization in a manufacturing environment.
Participates in the testing and validation of new products and features.
Provides technical support for existing embedded systems in manufacturing operations.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or similar.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers/microprocessors (e.g., ARM Cortex-M/R/A, PIC, AVR).
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic microcontroller environments.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation or data analysis.
Demonstrated experience with version control systems beyond Git (e.g., SVN, Perforce).
Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing or simulation environments.
