Salary Range:
$80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test embedded software for manufacturing automation systems.
Troubleshoot and debug complex hardware/software issues on production equipment.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate embedded systems into new products.
Implement and optimize control algorithms for industrial machinery and robotics.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for embedded systems, including specifications and test plans.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for field failures related to embedded systems.
Support the manufacturing team with software deployments and system configurations on the factory floor.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing or industrial control systems.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
Familiarity with hardware design principles, schematics, and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation concepts.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, IEC 61508).
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) in a manufacturing context.
