Salary Range:
$85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement firmware for manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems during production.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate new components and systems.
Develop and maintain real-time operating systems for industrial control.
Optimize embedded software for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct testing and validation of embedded systems to meet quality standards.
Provide technical support for deployed embedded systems in manufacturing facilities.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
Experience with sensor integration, motor control, and data acquisition systems in manufacturing.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic scheduling.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, CAN).
Knowledge of functional safety standards and their application in embedded systems (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
Proficiency in hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog) for FPGA/ASIC design.
Demonstrated ability to debug complex hardware/software interactions using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
