Salary Range:
$85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Designing and implementing embedded software for manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software issues on production lines.
Developing and testing firmware for microcontrollers and other embedded systems.
Collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate embedded systems into new products.
Optimizing existing embedded systems for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation for embedded systems and processes.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in C/C++ for real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
Hands-on experience with microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM, PIC, AVR) and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, in-circuit debuggers).
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic usage.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation or data analysis.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex hardware/software interactions.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles applicable to embedded systems.
