Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the school setting. Multiple contract SLP roles are available for the upcoming school year, offering rewarding experiences supporting students from preschool through high school ages. Assignments are based in a welcoming, collaborative district in North Carolina, beginning August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with potential additional days for planning. Four distinct assignments are available, each offering the chance to apply your expertise: Qualifications:Current North Carolina State License in Speech-Language PathologyCurrent Educator Certification requiredSLP-CCC highly preferred; SLP-CFYs may be consideredExperience with AAC/Speech Generating Devices essential for high school caseloadStrong background with motor speech disorders, phonological, and early language delays needed for preschool caseloadBilingual fluency in Spanish and English required for select assignmentPrior school-based SLP experience, particularly with students with moderate to severe disabilities, is highly desired Role Details & Responsibilities:High school position (part-time, 1-2 days/week, flexible hours): Serve primarily students on support plans—collaborating closely with a seasoned, compassionate SLP in a setting with significant needs for AAC interventionElementary and Preschool positions: Deliver evaluations and therapy, develop and monitor IEPs, and partner with staff and families to advance student communication goals, with specific needs to be confirmedBilingual assignment: Provide assessment and therapy services to Spanish-speaking students as caseload is determinedUphold compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations This is an outstanding option for professionals seeking flexibility—whether you want fewer hours or would like your assignment combined for a fuller schedule.
