2. Maintain a valid driver's license.

1. Work year: Twelve-months
2. Salary and fringe benefits to be established by the Board of Education.

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of Educational Support Personnel.

JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE OF THE POSITION:
Groundskeeper 1st shift
LOCATION OF THE POSITION:
Tinley Park High School
REPORTS TO:
Building Manager/Chief
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Entire outside grounds / Sports fields. Building maintenance as necessary.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Maintain the appearance of the campus grounds.
Empty all trash cans daily.
Pick up all trash on grounds daily.
Mark and maintain all sports fields.
Maintain flower beds and all shrubbery.
Ensure that all playing fields are ready in a timely manner.
Assist with maintenance when necessary.
Responsible for snow removal.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Maintain all grounds equipment (change oil, filters, grease, and keep equipment clean).
Keep record of all scheduled maintenance service on equipment.
Keep Chief informed of needed supplies.
Report broken equipment to Chief.
Snow removal when necessary. (Hours will vary).
Additional duties as assigned.
