Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

Our client is a well-established leader in the manufacturing industry, they are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join their finance team. This position will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist:

  Accurately process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment disbursements.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage accounts receivable processes, including customer invoicing, payment application, and collections activities.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reporting support.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain organized financial records in accordance with established standards.

  
  

Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist:

• 
  

  Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in AP and AR.

  
  


• 
  

  Prior experience within the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
