  • Oversee multistate payroll for 1700 employees

  • Manage two smaller separate bi‑weekly payroll runs

  • Maintain early‑wage‑access reports

  • Process garnishment and child support orders

  • Enter and update employee deductions, direct deposit details, and tax withholding data in the payroll system

  • Audit pre‑payroll and post‑payroll reports

  • Validate, update, and maintain employee records within Paycom

  • Review and track timeclock entries to ensure proper payroll processing

  • Manage PTO balances, accruals, and payout processing

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc payroll reporting

  • Maintain relationships and communication with payroll service vendors

  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed


Qualifications for the Payroll Administrator:



  • 4+ years' payroll processing experience required

    • Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals and multistate payroll processing



  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of Paycom software

    • Experience using Paychex and/or Kelly Benefits a plus



  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite





Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm; 80% in‑office in Baltimore, MD (Fridays remote)

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 depending on experience
