Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
• Process weekly payroll for approximately 450 employees
• Ensure payroll is reviewed, approved, and transmitted to the bank by Tuesday afternoon each week
• Partner with another payroll specialist to support both union and non‑union payroll
• Accurately interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements to payroll calculations
• Prepare payroll reports for internal review and distribution
• Process and reconcile payroll taxes to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist:
• Prior experience processing payroll in a mid‑to‑large employee environment
• Exposure to union payroll and working with collective bargaining agreements preferred
Salary: $55,000 to $70,000
