A well-established organization is seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant to support day-to-day accounting operations while bringing structure, accuracy, and efficiency to the team. The Senior Accountant Consultant will play a key role in both transactional accounting and month-end support, helping strengthen overall financial processes.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead AP & AR processes (invoicing, payments, collections)
- Own general ledger activity and journal entries as the Senior Accountant Consultant
- Support month-end close and reporting đź“…
- Perform and review account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies
- Handle multi-entity and intercompany accounting
- Work within QuickBooks and Visual ERP systems
- Partner with operations on cost tracking and allocations 🤝
- Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records (GAAP compliant)
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis đź“Š
- Identify and support process improvements across accounting functions
What You Bring:
- 4–6+ years of accounting experience (AP/AR + GL required)
- Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience
- Experience in a consulting or fast-paced environment preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Visual ERP, and Excel
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles
- High attention to detail and strong organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
