Project Manager – Retail Development (Site / Ground-Up Focus)

We are partnering with a well-established, highly active real estate development firm focused on net lease retail projects across Florida. With a significant pipeline of active and upcoming developments, the team is looking to add a Project Manager to help drive execution across multiple concurrent sites.
This is a boots-on-the-ground role designed for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys managing multiple projects at once, and wants real ownership over project delivery—not just reporting.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role where you will:
Manage 5–8 concurrent ground-up development projects
Focus heavily on site work and horizontal construction
Spend the majority of your time in the field overseeing active projects
Work directly with leadership and play a key role in scaling project execution
The platform offers a strong brand, consistent deal flow, and a collaborative, no-ego environment where high performers are trusted to own their work.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee multiple retail development projects from pre-construction through completion
Manage site work execution, subcontractors, and field operations
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and consultants
Track and maintain project budgets, schedules, and timelines
Conduct regular site visits and ensure quality control across projects
Support procurement, contract review, and project reporting
Participate in weekly team and stakeholder update meetings
What We’re Looking For
3–8+ years of construction or development experience
Strong exposure to site work / civil / horizontal construction
Experience managing multiple projects at once
Comfortable being in the field 4–5 days per week
Highly accountable, self-directed, and execution-focused
Nice xywuqvp to Have:
Retail or net lease project experience
Engineering or Construction Management background
