Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication growth as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a maternity leave assignment this school year. This rewarding contract opportunity is conveniently located near Haskell, NJ and offers both full-time and part-time options, allowing you to contribute your expertise in a way that fits your lifestyle. You’ll be covering from May 1st through June 12th (Monday through Friday, 9am–3pm) with additional potential to extend through the Extended School Year (ESY) and again from September 8th through October 20th. This role offers flexibility for clinicians who prefer a steady school-based caseload without the year-round commitment, perfect for SLPs seeking to make a difference during peak timeframes. Desired Experience and Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed Active state licensure as required for school-based practice Previous pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience highly valued Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Compassionate and creative approach to supporting students with various speech and language needs

Role Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff Document progress and maintain compliance with applicable guidelines Offer therapy in individual and group settings, targeting each student’s unique goals Support students in achieving meaningful communication milestones
