Job Description
Our client is a well-established nonprofit organization with a long history of serving children and families across Los Angeles County through education, behavioral health, residential care, and community-based programs.

This role will provide broad administrative support across onboarding, compliance tracking, recruitment coordination, and employee records management.
Immediate priorities will include organizing personnel files and supporting HR documentation cleanup and audit readiness.
Details of the role
On-site in LA (Culver City/West LA)
Schedule: 8-5pm – 40 hours/week
Duration: 6 months, may extend or convert
Pay range: $24‑$28 per hour
Responsibilities
Organize and maintain employee personnel files (primary initial focus)
Support onboarding and offboarding coordination
Track required trainings, certifications, and compliance documentation
Assist with background checks and credential verification
Schedule interviews and support recruiting logistics
Respond to routine employee HR inquiries
Maintain HRIS data accuracy and reporting support
Qualifications
1–3 years of HR coordination, recruiting coordination, or administrative experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Experience supporting compliance-driven environments strongly preferred
Nonprofit, behavioral health, education, or social services experience a plus
