
Executive Chef

Job Summary
The Executive Chef at Hilton Mystic is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within the hotel, including on‑site restaurant, banquet and catering services, and in‑room dining. This is a full‑time, management role with a salary of up to $80,000‑85,000 per year, paid biweekly. The Executive Chef will ensure the highest quality of food and service is provided to guests while maintaining a profitable and efficient operation.

Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
Create and maintain recipes and standards for all food items served on property
Train, manage, and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff
Monitor food and labor costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations
Collaborate with other departments, such as Banquets and Sales, to ensure successful execution of events and functions
Create and implement special menus for holidays and events
Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment
Foster a positive and productive working environment for all kitchen staff
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in culinary management, preferably in a hotel setting
Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and costing, food preparation, and food safety
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively train and manage a team
Creativity and skills in developing new and innovative menu items
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
